I went to Kroger and Tom Thumb last night for a few things. Friendly reminder to everyone--DO NOT purchase an item unless you have a coupon for it! :)
From Kroger I got a canister of the Slim Fast formula, Slim Fast bars--free, Slim Fast muffin bars--free, 2 canisters of kool-aid, 2 cans of Enfamil--free, travel Pampers package--free, and a box of Quaker granola bars the total was $40.36, then after scaning my Kroger card and using my coupons my total was $3.31!
At Tom Thumb I purchased Kraft salad dressing--free, 4 boxes of Ritz crackers, 4 bags of Wheat Thins--free, 4 bottles of SOBE water-free, 2 meals for two by Birdseye, Nuttybars, Dial handsoap-free, individual frozen meal of lasagna. The total came to $66.27, after scaning my Tom Thumb card and using coupons I paid $9.06--got to love coupons!
Using coupons is a way of saving money. Just remember to always have a coupon for an item and don't buy just because you have a coupon. You have to match the sales and coupons up and save, save, save!!!
