Are you interested in having me come and speak? My classes are ideal for Mom's group, employee perks, community center education events, Mom's night out, PTA, church groups, fundraisers, Women's Conferences, girls night out, MOPS groups, weekend retreats, Playgroups, teacher organizations, non-profit groups, informal gatherings, etc. Please review the following Q & A then contact me.
1). How do I book you?
-Please give me a call or send me an e-mail at 469-525-5088 or couponingamomssport@live.com with specific details of your event and we can start working together to get your class booked. I will provide you with a Letter of Agreement that you will sign and returned with 40% of your Teaching/Speaking Engagement fee.
2). What set-up is needed?
-I provide my personal lap top and prefer to teach using a projector, if available. I present on a PowerPoint presentation, but do have paper hand outs, if needed. I come prepared with visuals, goodies and handouts for all attendees, and door prizes. I do require table and chairs. Refreshments are up to you, they are always nice to have.
3). Do you teach any other classes? And what topics do you cover?
-Yes, I teach Couponing 101, Stockpiling 101 and Menu Planning, and Basic Crock-Pot Cooking. All classes are offered individually or in packages of Corporate Lunch Meetings or Workshops ("Raising Your Family On A Budget"). I have worked hard to write my curriculum for each topic I teach to provide full knowledge. Topics discusses are explained below.
I have written my Couponing 101 curriculum to teach everything you need to know about couponing. I teach how to clip, file and organize coupons with the Binder Method, how to understand weekly circulars, basics of doubling and tripling coupons, how to become a strategic shopper, coupon lingo, where to get coupons and coupon policies. Supply lists are provided for attendees of this class.
Stockpiling 101 covers how to strategically use coupons to create and build your stockpile. We discuss the cycle of the sale, basics of stockpiling and store tips. This class will have you ready to start building your stockpile.
A new popular class I am offering is Menu Planning. This class gives you the knowledge of how to plan a menu for each member of your family wether being a picky toddler or an adult. We cover how to menu plan effectively to save time. My Menu Planning class has been proven to take coupon savings to another level (just like the Stockpiling 101 class).
Basic Crock-Pot Cooking is a fun class learning new tips and recipes about the Crock-Pot. The Crock-Pot is an awesome kitchen tool that should be used in every kitchen.
Each class is offered with drawings for goodies and Q & A time to answer any lingering questions at the end of class. All class participants receive handouts, a goody bag and a copy of my book "Couponing"--A Mom's Sport... and have the opportunity to have it autographed.
4). In what order to you take reservations?
-Dates for classes are reserved on a first-come first-serve basis.
5). Are you good at teaching classes?
-In my pre-Mom life, I was a pre-school teacher and am used to presenting in large groups and keeping my high-energized audience engaged in what I was teaching. My class reviews have always and still have high rankings and great comments! I do like to have a good time and keep things light while fun and informative. I have a passion for helping others and teaching what I love to do is a blessing.
6). Will you come and speak for free?
-Not at this time. I have a passion for helping families save money, but please understand preparing a dynamic presentation requires careful planning and time, travel, cost for class giveaways and handouts and sometimes childcare arrangements.
7). How far will you travel?
-I am happy to drive about 30 minutes from the Plano area. Distance beyond 25 miles may require an additional travel fee.
If you are located out of the Plano area and wish to provide travel accommodations, please contact me. I am happy to travel anywhere in the United States.
8). How much do you charge for your classes?
-Class fees vary, please contact me for pricing information. Non-profit organizations are given a $25 deduction.
9). Are you interested in other ideas for teaching classes such as Fundraisers or Weekend Retreats?
-Yes!!!! Please contact me for pricing information.
