Wal-Mart has updated their coupon policy with a few nice additions. Hopefully this will help us here in the DFW area since Kroger changed their policy from doubling and tripling. Do not forget to print a copy of the coupon policy here and carrying it with you at least the first few times you shop.
Highlights:
Wal-Mart will accept the following...
*Coupons MAY exceed price of the item. Change MAY be given or applied toward the cost of the basket purchase.
This means if an item is $1 and you have a $2 coupon, they will give you $1 back. WHOA!! Awesome!!!
Another great highlight...
*Competitors' coupons that feature a specific item for a specific price.
A Comptiiors' coupon (CC) is a store coupon you are using from another store. The policy does have an important note: If you use a CC, the policy states ONLY one coupon per item-you are NOT able to stack a Manufacturer's coupon (MANU).
A few things Wal-Mart will not accept:
*Buy One, Get One Free (BOGOF) are accepted, NO coupons for free items that print from your computer.
*CCs for dollars/cents or percentage off, BOGOF and double/triple-value coupons.
*Print-at-home internet coupons that require no purchase.
Thank you, Coupon Diva's for this information.
