How to Organize Your Stockpile

How to keep your purchases in order...

If you are into couponing and have started stockpiling, you need to know what foods you have. Everything should be arranged by categories with labels facing forward. Store your items in a dry, cool cabinet, closet or shelving unit. Basements are also a great place to store  your stock, if you have one.

You can freeze some of your stockpile items to store them longer. Butter, milk, yogurt, bread, guacamole, salsa, and tons of other foods can be frozen to keep them longer. (*see the freeze list below)

A great thing to do with your stockpile is if you have items you will not use, donate them to a food pantry, soup kitchen or women's shelter.

Having an inventory list of your stock, at least an over all list is a great thing to have if you start to accumulate a lot. This will be very helpful to you.
